Which consents to the processing of personal data are available to Profesia clients?
Consent when applying for a job
By making an application for a job ad, a candidate needs to fill out a web form and add a CV containing his personal information. An employer, who will receive this information is able to use it only for the duration and the purpose of that particular hiring process. If the candidate confirms the consent to the processing of personal data by the employer in the application form, the employer is able to use the personal data for other purposes than hiring process.
If there are application forms located outside Profesia.sk portal (external application forms), the candidate grants the consent to the processing of personal data directly to the employer in his own application form. In these situations, Profesia doesn’t collect any agreements.
Consent before uploading a CV to the database
After completing the CV form on Profesia.sk, the candidate can choose, if he wants to upload his CV to the database and make it accessible to registered companies. The consent to the processing of personal data is required, if you want to create your CV on Profesia.sk and the candidate grants it for the purpose of being helped with the job search. Profesia is able to provide this information to its business partners (employers), who are able to use it only for the purpose of finding a new employee. The employer is also required to notify the concerned person about the processing of his or her personal data (according to the article 14 of Regulation and §20 of Law).
